Backend Developer SAP BW/4HANA

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced backend developer for a challenging project in the field of enterprise data management. You will be involved in the implementation and migration of modern SAP systems, developing technical components based on SAP S/4, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP HANA native architecture.

Your main tasks include the implementation of backend components with SQLScript and XSJS, functional support for the migration from SAP BW on Hana to SAP BW/4HANA, and consulting in the architectural context. You will create IT concepts, conduct requirements workshops, estimate technical effort, fix bugs, and perform code and design reviews. Furthermore, you will document systems and create delivery packages for applications.

For this position, you need extensive experience: at least five years in SAP BW architecture, backend development with SQLScript and XSJS, and frontend development with JavaScript. Additionally, you should have experience in software architecture management with SAP BW/4HANA and BTP, as well as being an Implementation Lead in the area of maintenance (Transport & Logistics). Methodological competence in agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe is required, proven by at least three project references. Finally, you should have the ability to present complex issues to top management.

The project runs full-time from January 2027 to the end of 2028 at the Frankfurt am Main location. German is the working language.
