Job description
Seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP RAR, replacing an existing in-house tool. The role requires expertise in IFRS15 revenue recognition and SAP-side implementation, acting as a liaison between business, finance, and SAP consulting.
Project overview
As part of a strategic transformation, an existing, internally developed accounting and revenue management tool is to be replaced by SAP RAR. A project manager is sought who understands both the functional perspective of revenue recognition according to IFRS15 and the SAP-side implementation, and who acts as a central interface between the business department, finance, and SAP consulting.
Responsibilities
- Overall project management responsibility for the introduction of SAP RAR
- Management of the replacement of an existing in-house developed tool
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting and moderating workshops
- Requirements management between Finance, Accounting, and SAP
- Management of implementation partners and SAP consultants
- Planning and support of migration, test management, and go-live
- Ensuring IFRS15-compliant revenue recognition
- Reporting to management and program leadership
Requirements
SAP RAR (SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting) +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
SAP CO (Controlling) +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
SAP FI (Financial Accounting) +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
SAP S/4 HANA +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
Test management +++ (good), 2-4 yrs.
- Several years of experience as an SAP Project Manager
- Demonstrable experience with SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
- Very good knowledge in the area of IFRS15 / Revenue Recognition
- Experience in complex SAP transformation projects
- Good knowledge in the SAP Finance environment (FI / CO)
- Experience in stakeholder and escalation management
Nice to have
Project language: German/English
- Experience in the telecommunications environment
- Experience with S/4HANA transformations
- Experience in replacing legacy or in-house developed systems
- Knowledge of other finance modules and integrations
