SAP RE-FX Reporting Consultant

Project overview

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced SAP Reporting Consultant to support the RE-FX environment, starting immediately. The focus is on analyzing existing data flows and reporting structures, as well as modeling and providing data with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SAP Datasphere. Based on this, reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud are to be developed or further developed.

Project Framework Data

Responsibilities

Analysis of existing RE-FX reporting structures and the underlying data models in SAP BW and SAP HANA

Identification and tracing of relevant data sources, transformations, and data flows from source to report

Checking and clarifying data discrepancies in coordination with the business department and IT

Development and adaptation of data models and provision of reporting-ready data in SAP Datasphere

Use and further development of CDS Views for data provision

Creation and optimization of SQL queries for data analysis and validation

Development and further development of reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud

Support in the further development or possible replacement of existing BW reporting solutions

Documentation of data models, data flows, and reporting logics

Requirements

Very good knowledge of SAP BW and SAP HANA, especially in data modeling and analysis of complex data flows

Practical experience with SAP Datasphere in data modeling and data provision

Good knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud for implementing reports and dashboards

Experience with CDS Views

Good SQL knowledge

Structured, analytical way of working and the ability to independently penetrate existing reporting landscapes

Ability to translate business reporting requirements into technical solutions

Desirable

Business or technical knowledge in SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management)

Experience with existing RE-FX/BW reporting structures and their further development or replacement

Goal of the Assignment

To create an understandable and reliable data basis for RE-FX reporting, to make existing data flows transparent, and to further develop the reporting landscape with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
