SAP RISE / S/4HANA Security and IAM Expert

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Security and Identity & Access Management (IAM) expert to support a company in implementing and optimizing its SAP RISE infrastructure.

In this part-time position (40 days over 6 months), you will work remotely on strategic security tasks in a complex SAP environment. Your main responsibilities will include analyzing the SAP RISE architecture and operating model, documenting authentication and authorization processes across SAP and non-SAP components, and evaluating SAP identity components such as BTP, IAS, IPS, and SAP Cloud Connector.

You will evaluate and implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, develop comprehensive security architectures and governance concepts, and design Identity & Access Management in complex enterprise environments. You will consider modern cloud identity platforms, Zero Trust principles, machine identities, and regulatory requirements.

We expect in-depth knowledge of the SAP RISE architecture, practical experience with PAM solutions, and a deep understanding of SAP identity concepts. Experience with cloud identity platforms, Zero Trust architectures, governance of machine identities, and compliance frameworks in regulated environments is advantageous. Knowledge in managing Non-Human Identities (service accounts, technical users, API and application identities) is beneficial.
