SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Specialist

Project overview

For an internationally active manufacturing client in the greater Hannover area, we are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA expert for data migration as part of a global new implementation (RISE Private Cloud).

Project Framework Data

Rollout Plan

• Location: Greater Hannover area, primarily remote, on-site approx. every 4 weeks, more intensive during go-live phases
• Start: January 2027, February 2027 at the latest
• Workload: 60–100% during the Hannover phase (approx. 6 months), then approx. 1–2 months per further location
• Duration: initially 12 months, extension for further locations planned until 2031
• Willingness to travel: occasionally to international locations by arrangement
• Project language: English
• Hannover: Implementation from Q1 2027, Go-Live Q1 2028
• Canada and Spain: Go-Live Q1 2029
• Further locations (Hungary x2, USA, Singapore, France, UK): by Q3 2031

• Extraction of master data from legacy systems (different ERP systems per location)
• Mapping, cleansing, and transformation into S/4HANA structures
• Setup and maintenance of migration objects in the SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM)
• Execution of test runs and productive migration per location
• Migration of production-related objects: Material, Bills of Material, Routings, Work Centers, Business Partners
• Quality assurance of migrated data together with the business departments
• Knowledge transfer to the internal SAP team
• At least 2 completed S/4HANA migration projects
• Profound knowledge of the SAP Migration Cockpit or comparable tools
• Confident handling of master data in MM, SD, and PP
• Fluent English and German
• Manufacturing environment (Bills of Material, Routings)
• International rollouts
• Basic ABAP knowledge, SQL/ETL
• SAP RISE / Private Cloud
