SAP S/4HANA Developer ABAP Cloud & Clean Core Remote

Project overview

For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for support that meets the following requirements:

As part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation, an experienced SAP developer is sought to support the modernization of existing developments and the implementation of future-proof extension and integration solutions. The focus is on Clean Core compliant development, SAP BTP, and modern architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

• Development of Clean Core compliant extensions with ABAP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, and CDS
• Development of side-by-side extensions with SAP BTP and CAP
• Implementation of standardized interfaces using APIs, OData, and Events
• Analysis and modernization of existing Z-developments
• Evaluation of suitable extension strategies (Standard, On-Stack, Side-by-Side)
• Ensuring code quality through Git, CI/CD, and tests
• Collaboration with architecture and integration teams

Requirements

• Profound experience in SAP development with ABAP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, and CDS
• Practical knowledge in SAP BTP and CAP
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Clean Core architectures
• Knowledge in interface development with APIs, OData, and Events
• Experience in modernizing existing SAP Custom Code developments
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and modern development processes
• Good understanding of architecture and integration
• Optional: Experience in the energy industry
• Optional: SAP certifications in ABAP Cloud, SAP BTP, Extension Development, or Integration Suite
• Good German and English skills
• Location: Remote, on-site in Leipzig once a month desirable
• Duration: From immediate effect, approximately 6 months
• Utilization: Full utilization
