SAP S/4HANA Transport & Release Manager

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transport & Release Manager to control and manage the end-to-end transport and release process in an on-premise SAP landscape.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire SAP transport and release lifecycle across all environments. You will coordinate transport movements between development, QA, pre-production, and production systems, ensuring that all system changes are deployed in a controlled, secure, and traceable manner.

Your main tasks include defining and enforcing transport governance standards, planning release calendars with project teams, and managing transport dependencies and sequencing. You will support cutover planning and production deployments, work closely with Basis, Development, Functional, and Test teams, and assess deployment risks to implement mitigation measures. Compliance with audit and change management requirements, as well as managing release documentation, are also central.

We expect at least 5 years of experience in SAP Transport & Release Management, in-depth knowledge of SAP TMS (Transport Management System), experience with SAP ChaRM and SAP Solution Manager, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA release management best practices. Experience supporting large SAP implementation programs, understanding of change management and deployment governance, and the ability to coordinate complex multi-stream releases are required. Fluent English is necessary.

Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, regulated environments, SAP Basis, and SAP landscape management, as well as French language skills, are advantageous.
