Project overview

For our client in the "Energy Industry" sector, we are looking for an "SAP Solution Architect" on a contracting basis.

Responsibilities

• Conception and definition of the target architecture of the SAP system landscape
• Architecture design in the context of SAP S/4HANA Utilities
• Evaluation and integration of SAP Market Communication for Utilities (MaCo Cloud)
• Coordination of the architecture with existing SAP BTP integration and extension scenarios
• Analysis of the current system landscape and derivation of architecture and integration concepts
• Consulting IT and business departments regarding architectural decisions
• Support in the strategic further development of the SAP Utilities platform

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect
• Very good knowledge in the conception of solution architectures in the SAP environment
• Profound experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities
• Experience with SAP Market Communication for Utilities (SAP MaCo Cloud)
• Project experience in the energy industry / utilities
• Fluent German language skills

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience with cloud architectures in the SAP environment
• Experience with SAP Customer Experience / SAP Service Cloud

For a client in the energy industry, we are looking for an SAP Solution Architect with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Utilities and SAP Market Communication for Utilities (MaCo Cloud). The client is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation of its SAP system landscape. As part of this transformation, SAP S/4HANA Utilities is being introduced as the central ERP platform for core energy industry processes.

Additionally, SAP Customer Experience is being implemented based on SAP Service Cloud version 2. The future system landscape is oriented towards the three regulatory market roles in the energy industry:

The transformation program has been running for about a year and a half. The first go-live is planned for 01.06. with the electricity supplier market role.

In parallel, the client is evaluating the introduction of SAP Market Communication for Utilities (MaCo Cloud) to support market communication.

The project aims to define a future-proof target architecture for the SAP system landscape, integrating existing systems such as SAP S/4HANA Utilities and SAP BTP, as well as potential cloud components.
