SAP Test Engineer – S/4HANA & AWS

Project overview

The project aims to create transparency, increase efficiency, and ensure a reduction in failures ("Lost Units") with IT support. This is achieved on the one hand by improving the planning status of maintenance measures to avoid downtimes. On the other hand, bundling and operational efficiency in scheduling are to be increased, so that operational downtime options can be better utilized in the future and immediate measures ("Sofos") can be avoided.

The service provider performs the following services independently and self-organized:

Skills

• The project works as an agile team within a SAFe construct with typical artifacts (Epics, Program Backlog Items, Team Backlog Items, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt etc.).
• The team consists of internal specialist departments, the internal IT service provider, and external service providers.
• Project documentation is created parallel to the activities and planned directly into the sprints.
• Project language is German.
• Functional support in the preparation and execution of the migration to SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Development and execution of test plans to comply with client or software product requirements in the interplay of SAP BTP, SAP BW/4HANA, and AWS.
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Execution of manual or automated tests to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Analysis of test results, identification of defects, and tracking until resolution.
• Cooperation with developers and other members of the development team to resolve defects.
• Identification and proposal of improvements for test processes, test tools, and methods.
• Appropriate communication of test results and defect reports to project stakeholders.
• Participation in project planning and estimation activities as needed.
• Adherence to project schedules and milestones, as well as escalation of problems.

Requirements

Should-have criteria:

• Experience in process analysis in the area of maintenance (Transport & Logistics) (> 5 years of experience)
• Test Engineer in the area of maintenance: In the interplay between SAP BW4HANA, BTP, and AWS (in the last 5 years) (> 5 years of experience)
• Test Engineer in the area of maintenance (Transport & Logistics): In the context of front-end and back-end development (in the last 5 years) (> 5 years of experience)
• Current and good knowledge of SAP BW architecture (> 5 years of experience)
• Weighting: 60%
• Presentation know-how: Experience in presenting complex issues to top management
• Number of references: 3
• Weighting: 30%
• Methodological competence, process models -> Project references in the CV traceable with agile process models/methods such as SCRUM, SAFe, etc.
• Weighting: 10%
