SAP Developer (Senior) – HANA-native, XSJS & UI5

Inclusion exclusively through a company: either through your current employer on a contracting basis or directly through us for the project duration. Sole proprietors and non-contributory functions cannot be considered.

For an ongoing project, we are looking for reinforcement in SAP development. The focus is on building, operating, and further developing an application for forecasting infrastructure conditions for predictive maintenance, integrating data from SAP and non-SAP systems. Work is done in an agile team according to SAFe. The activity is predominantly remote from Germany, i.e., onshore, with a few on-site appointments for workshops and PI-Plannings.

There are two possible ways of collaboration:

Collaboration as a sole proprietor or in a non-contributory function, such as a managing director of your own company, is not possible. Please refrain from applying in these cases.

An application is only meaningful if almost all requirements are met, meaning at least 90 to 95 percent of the must-have and should-have criteria. Profiles that are significantly below this cannot be pursued. Please check this honestly beforehand before contacting us.

• Hourly rate: €70 remote + travel expense allowance
• Duration: 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2028, long-term perspective with around 220 person-days per year
• German at near-native level (C2)
• You are already an employee of a consulting or IT service company that offers you to us on a contracting basis.
• Or you join our team directly for the project duration if the former does not apply to you.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of technical components based on SAP S/4, SAP BW4HANA, JavaScript, ABAP, SQLScript, and HANA-native architecture
• Functional support in preparation and execution of the migration to SAP S/4 or BW4HANA
• Functional support and consulting in the architectural context as well as creation of IT concepts
• Implementation of technical components based on SAP BW on HANA, JavaScript, SQLScript, and UI5
• Effort estimation for the technical solution in the project
• Fixing errors from test phases and live system
• Conducting reviews of design, code, and tests as well as creating delivery packages and system documentation

• Backend development with XSJS, in the last 5 years (min. 5 years)
• Implementation Lead in the area of Maintenance (Transport and Logistics) in the context of Frontend development, in the last 5 years (min. 5 years)
• Frontend development with JavaScript, in the last 5 years (min. 5 years)
• Backend development with SQLScript, in the last 5 years (min. 5 years)
• Current knowledge in SAP BW architecture such as SAP BTP and SAP HANA (min. 5 years)
• Presentation know-how: presenting complex issues to top management level (min. 3 references)
• Methodological competence and process models, with traceable project references in the CV using agile methods like Scrum or SAFe (min. 3 references)
