Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Scrum Master / Agile Coach (SAFe) (m/f/d)

Our client, a public institution, is implementing a cloud-based, integrated SAP solution for talent management to continuously digitize and automate core HR and support processes throughout the entire employee journey. Phase 1 involves a standard-near implementation (plain vanilla approach) as a preview system, followed by Phase 2 which includes legal adjustments, integration into the IT system landscape, data migration, rollout for all employees, and hypercare. We are looking for a Scrum Master to guide multiple agile teams in a scaled environment according to SAFe.

The assignment is planned from 11/16/2026 to 05/31/2027, with an on-site component of approximately 30%.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement of agile working methods within the entire project team
• Empowering teams to independently adhere to Scrum rules, values, principles, and continuous improvement
• Monitoring and controlling external factors affecting the Scrum teams
• Resolving acute problems and removing impediments
• Moderating Scrum meetings
• If applicable, taking on Scrum Master tasks at a cross-team level
• Support in structuring, maintaining, and quality assurance of the backlog, as well as in formulating and delimiting features and user stories
• Conveying relevant Scrum knowledge to participants and, if applicable, stakeholders
• Ensuring cross-team transparency regarding progress, dependencies, risks, impediments, and decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Minimum 3 years of experience with the SAFe framework
• In-depth knowledge of working with teams in scaled Scrum situations (multiple agile teams)
• Possess an extended security clearance (Ü2) or willingness to undergo one before the start of the assignment
