Scrum Master / Business Analyst

Project overview

This mission is with two players in the energy sector and combines two complementary responsibilities: Scrum Master at 50% and Business Analyst at 50%.

On the Scrum Master side, you will be involved in the operational maintenance of a business application related to the railway sector. You will join an already structured agile team, composed of project, product, architecture, DevOps, development, and technical expertise profiles.

An important challenge concerns the application's performance, with an upcoming optimization study. You will be directly involved in supporting this work and contributing a fresh perspective on practices, organization, and technical topics.

Responsibilities

The mission is part of an Agile Scrum organization, with sprints of four to five weeks.

On the Business Analyst side, you will work on a second scope within the energy sector. The detailed functional scope will be specified at the start.

You have proven experience as a Scrum Master with development teams. You are proficient in the Scrum framework, facilitating ceremonies, and continuous improvement practices.

You know how to integrate into an already mature agile team and adopt a facilitator role. You are capable of tactfully challenging practices, organization, and technical topics while maintaining effective collaboration between different stakeholders.

You are proficient in:

Sufficient understanding of technical environments is expected to challenge topics with the teams. Knowledge of Java, Angular, Linux, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra is an advantage.

Experience in operational maintenance, application performance optimization, or GUI interface testing is appreciated. Knowledge of the energy or railway sector is also an asset.

A Scrum certification such as PSM or CSM would be appreciated.

You demonstrate organization to manage two missions in parallel, interpersonal skills with distributed teams, and curiosity to quickly gain expertise in a new field.
