Project overview

For a long-term IT project in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master. The focus is on supporting an agile development team in effectively achieving sprint goals and managing and moderating Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

• Support of the development team and removal of organizational and technical obstacles
• Clarification of open requirements together with requirements engineering
• Preparation and structuring of the Jira backlog
• Moderation of Sprint Planning, Daily, Refinement, and Retrospectives
• Definition, communication, and tracking of realistic sprint goals
• Recording and evaluation of sprint metrics
• Support in the creation of system documentation
• Onboarding of new team members

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects
• Certification as Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Deep understanding of the Scrum methodology and its values
• Experience with moderation and coaching techniques
• Confident use of Jira and Confluence
• Basic understanding of software development, software architecture, and databases
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Very good written German skills
• Start: immediately

• Utilization: Full-time
• Location: predominantly remote, with occasional on-site appointments in Nuremberg if required
• Willingness for security check SÜ2 required
