Scrum Master, immediate, part-time, remote and Karlsruhe

Project overview

We, emagine GmbH, are looking for support from a Scrum Master (m/f/d) for the agile reorganization & restructuring of teams, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Agile support and coaching of cross-functional teams (DevOps, Governance, etc.)
• Promotion of the agile mindset and enablement within the teams / departments
• Moderation of Scrum events and support in scaling agile methods (e.g. SAFe)
• Support in establishing agile processes and tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Close collaboration with Product Owners, developers, leads, and stakeholders
• Optional involvement in individual projects (e.g. APEs), but primarily a line function

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in complex, cross-functional environments
• Sound knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe – the latter is an advantage)
• Experience working with DevOps teams and governance structures
• Confident use of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong communication skills, coaching competence, and high self-responsibility
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g. banks, insurance companies)

Initially until 12/31/2026 with an option to extend for the entire year 2027

50% - i.e. 20h/week

remote and Karlsruhe (once a month on-site and every 13 weeks for PI Plannings)

As part of a comprehensive reorganization, the department is being restructured. Several agile teams will be created, which will be required to implement scaling agile approaches in the future. To support this change, an experienced Scrum Master (m/f/d) is sought who promotes the agile mindset and accompanies teams in their development.
