Job description

As a Scrum Master within GKT Webdevelopment, you will help multiple DevOps team(s) get the most out of themselves. You facilitate, coach, and support the team in applying Agile, Scrum, and SAFe principles, so that qualitative web applications are developed and managed efficiently and predictably. You create the conditions for success by strengthening collaboration, removing obstacles, and stimulating continuous improvement. In doing so, you make a visible contribution to the results of the team(s) and the ART(s).

As a Scrum Master, you are a coach, facilitator, and connector within and outside the team. You support the team in the daily practice of Agile working and help it grow further in ownership, collaboration, and effectiveness.

Within GKT Webdevelopment, our focus is on developing both custom and generic web applications that are used organization-wide. Using the latest technologies, we build, test, maintain, and host these applications to continuously improve the services of the Tax Administration. We do this within the Generiek Kantoor en Toezicht (GKT) department, specifically within the four Webdevelopment DevOps/Scrum teams. The culture within the department is characterized by a high degree of agility, collaboration, and results orientation. The work is innovative and challenging, with quality always being paramount.

The Information Provision (IV) concern component of the Tax Administration is responsible for delivering all ICT facilities for the processes of the Tax Administration. The IV component Integration Business Services (IBS) Income Tax (IH) provides these facilities in line with the primary process of the Income Tax chain. We work on one of the most business-critical systems in the Netherlands, where many applications are brought together and integrated into one working solution by IV IBS Income Tax. • Demonstrable HBO work and thinking level
• Relevant work experience, minimum 5 years
• Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master within Agile/Scrum environments, preferably within complex IT or DevOps organizations
• 5-7 years
• Experience in coaching multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in Agile working, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• 3+ years
• Experience in facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and guiding team development and change processes
• Is pragmatic, has a feel for the team's context, and aligns with the existing working methods and needs.
