Scrum Master / Method Coach – SAFe & Jira

Responsibilities

• Introduction and sustainable establishment of agile working methods within the involved project teams
• Ensuring the consistent application of Scrum rules, roles, and principles
• Moderation and support of Scrum meetings, workshops, and other agile events
• Identification, prioritization, and sustainable removal of organizational and technical obstacles
• Support for the teams in structured management of external influencing factors
• Promotion of cross-team collaboration within scaled agile project environments
• Support in creating and maintaining agile work tools, especially the Product Backlog
• Creation of reports and presentation of transparent and comprehensible work results
• Ensuring a transparent flow of information between project teams and relevant stakeholders
• Teaching in-depth Scrum knowledge and providing methodological coaching to the involved project roles
• Taking over cross-team Scrum Master tasks according to project needs

• Core competence in Scrum Mastery and agile method coaching or comparable
• Several years of expertise in practically performing a Scrum Master role
• Demonstrable Scrum Master experience of at least one year as a must-have requirement
• In-depth knowledge of SAFe and scaled agile process models
• Experience in collaboration and coordination of multiple parallel working agile teams
• Very good user knowledge of Jira and Confluence as a must-have requirement
• Profound experience in moderating agile meetings, workshops, and project-related events
• Knowledge in agile coaching and in methodological knowledge transfer
• Strong business-related communication and moderation skills for teams and stakeholders
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working in complex project environments
• Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills
• Start: 01.11.2026
• Duration: 7 months until 31.05.2027
• Scope: 2 consultants
• Location: min. 80% Remote | max. 20% on-site in Nuremberg
• Conditions: up to €65/h negotiable Remote | incl. on-site assignments
