Secondary Technology Planner for Substations/Own Consumption Systems

Responsibilities

+ Secondary technology planning for the retrofit/conversion of a large substation with many different stakeholders (Swissgrid, Axpo Grid, Axpo Power, AEW, Kantonswerk, etc.)

+ Coordination of various trades and stakeholders, including grid operators, power plant operators, planners, suppliers, and executing companies

+ Technical alignment of interfaces between substation, transformers, secondary technology, and AC/DC own consumption systems

+ Checking, correcting, and creating electrical engineering diagrams and documentation with EPLAN

+ Processing and documentation of tasks via Autodesk Construction Cloud

Requirements

+ min. 10 years of relevant experience

+ Experience in planning secondary technology in substation projects (experience with at least 110 kV, ideally up to 380 kV (high voltage))

+ Sound experience in secondary technology and ideally also in protection/control technology

+ Experience with AC/DC own consumption systems in the substation environment

+ Ability to technically integrate various trades and interfaces --> understanding of interfaces between substation, transformers, secondary technology, own consumption, etc.

+ Schematic engineering: Confident ability to read, check/correct, and create circuit diagrams, cable plans, wiring diagrams, and circuit books (ideally in EPLAN ProPanel)
