About the Role

Are you an experienced support worker or teaching assistant looking for a consistent, long-term role in Westcliff-on-Sea? Randstad Education is seeking an approachable and enthusiastic SEND LSA to join a welcoming school community.

In this role, you will be crucial in supporting pupils with diverse educational needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build self-esteem. You will work side-by-side with subject teachers and support staff to ensure every child under your care receives the support they need to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Location: Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex
• Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant
• Start Date: Immediate Start
• Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Placement
• Pay Rate: £95-£100 per day
• Assist pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 basis across different classroom environments.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote focus.
• Help adapt learning materials to suit different learning paces and sensory requirements.
• Assist with personal care or mobility support if required within specific EHCP provisions.
• Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

• Child & Adult Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is MANDATORY.
• Practical experience working with individuals with additional needs (ASC, MLD, SLCN, or SEMH).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, reassuring demeanor under pressure.
• Commitment to a full-time, long-term assignment.
