Project overview

For a financial institution, we are looking for an experienced sparring partner for the Chief Compliance Officer. The department covers Compliance, AML, and Information Security and is in a phase of structural development, partly due to the AMLR implementation.

• Strategic sparring partner and advisor to the CCO on an equal footing
• Classification of steering, organizational, and governance issues in the Compliance and AML area
• Advice on coordination with the Management Board, committees, and group partners
• Second opinion on ongoing regulatory projects
• Input from comparable institutions and experience from own management function
• Several years of experience in a management function for Compliance, AML, or as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer or CCO
• Sound experience in the cooperative banking sector
• Good understanding of decision-making processes and committee structures within the group
• Proficient in the regulatory environment (GwG/AMLR, MaRisk, WpHG, BaFin audit practice)
• Confident, discreet demeanor and experience as a consultant or mentor at the Management Board or department head level
