We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer for an innovative Enterprise AI project focused on developing and operating a production-ready, AI-powered SaaS solution. The role involves supporting a DevOps team in building AI-native applications and agent-based features, working across the full stack with a focus on RAG, data processing, and system integration.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d) for an innovative project in the field of Enterprise AI. The position is remote and offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and operation of a production-ready, AI-powered SaaS solution.
In this role, you will support a DevOps team in developing AI-native applications and agent-based features. Your responsibility includes the design and implementation of systems with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), data processing, tool integrations, and connections to enterprise systems. You will work across the entire stack – from software engineering to infrastructure – with a strong emphasis on quality, security, and operational reliability.
As an experienced team member, you will help integrate and continuously improve modern, agent-based development practices into daily work. You will share your expertise, support architectural and engineering decisions, and help make the development and operation of AI applications reliable and scalable.
Proficient knowledge in Python, experience with relational and vector databases, a deep understanding of LLM architectures and agent orchestration, as well as practical experience with Azure, GitLab CI/CD, and containerized deployments are required. Knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and operational excellence complete the profile. Ideally, you bring an understanding of security, compliance, and DevOps/MLOps practices.
The position is limited until the end of June 2027, with the option for extension. We are looking for a self-directed, quality-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics understandably.
