- Operation, maintenance, and further development of business-critical applications in the banking environment
- Analysis, processing, and sustainable resolution of incidents and disruptions
- Execution of problem and root cause analyses
- Support of deployments, releases, and rollouts
- Development and optimization of Python-based applications and automations
- Execution of data analyses and work with relational databases
- Participation in the automation of operational and development processes
- Ensuring stable, performant, and audit-proof application operation
- Close collaboration with business departments, development teams, and infrastructure units
- Several years of experience in Application Management, DevOps, or Application Support
- Very good Python skills
- Sound experience with SQL and relational databases
- Very good Linux/Unix skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Release Management
- Very good German language skills
Nice to have
Target Profile
We are not looking for a pure software developer, but for a technically savvy consultant who combines development, operations, and support topics. The ideal candidate has sound experience in application management, strong Linux and database competence, and know-how in the further development and stable operation of complex application systems.
- Experience with Docker and container technologies
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Exasol
- Banking or financial services experience
- Knowledge in the area of risk management, reporting, or overall bank control
