Senior Architect - Linux Ubuntu Client Management

Project overview

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Architect (m/f/d) for Ubuntu Linux Client Management to design, implement, and then structurally hand over a scalable, secure, and maintainable management platform for around 100 Ubuntu workstations to the client's operations.

Responsibilities

The assignment will take place with a utilization of 4-5 days and predominantly remote.

• Conception of the target architecture as well as setup and configuration of Landscape Self-hosted, PostgreSQL, and Repository Management
• Integration of Ubuntu clients into Microsoft Active Directory using SSSD, Kerberos, and ADSys, as well as development of automated client deployment
• Setup of a standardized, reproducible, and hardened Ubuntu client baseline including Ansible and Git-based configuration management
• Implementation of patch, package, and release processes as well as integration of Wazuh for security monitoring and compliance
• Support of the pilot phase and initial rollout waves as well as creation of technical documentation, operational and recovery runbooks, and handover to the client's operations
