For our customer project, I am currently looking for a Senior Architect (m/f/d) - Linux Ubuntu Client Management (30791).

Responsibilities

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Architect (m/f/d) for Ubuntu Linux Client Management to design, implement, and subsequently structurally hand over a scalable, secure, and maintainable management platform for around 100 Ubuntu workstations to the customer's operations.

The assignment will be for 4-5 days per week and is predominantly remote.

• Conception of the target architecture as well as setup and configuration of Landscape Self-hosted, PostgreSQL, and Repository Management
• Integration of Ubuntu clients into Microsoft Active Directory using SSSD, Kerberos, and ADSys, as well as development of automated client deployment
• Setup of a standardized, reproducible, and hardened Ubuntu client baseline including Ansible and Git-based Configuration Management
• Implementation of patch, package, and release processes, as well as integration of Wazuh for Security Monitoring and Compliance
• Support of the pilot phase and initial rollout waves, as well as creation of technical documentation, operational and recovery runbooks, and execution of the handover to customer operations

• Several years of enterprise experience with Ubuntu LTS / Ubuntu Pro and practical experience with Landscape Self-hosted, APT/DEB, repository, patch, and software management
• Very good experience with Microsoft Active Directory integration under Linux, especially SSSD, Kerberos, realmd/adcli, PAM/NSS, and ADSys, including automated domain join
• Very good hands-on experience with Ansible, Git, Ubuntu Autoinstall/cloud-init/PXE, supplemented by Bash and basic Python knowledge
• Sound experience with Linux Security and Hardening, including LUKS2, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, AppArmor, sudo/polkit, auditd, host firewall, PKI, and certificates
• Practical Wazuh experience as well as architectural and consulting competence
