For our clients, an IT service provider, we are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer / Platform Automation Consultant (Track 3) starting immediately.

Background

For a long-term project with a client from the public sector in the Stuttgart region, we are looking for several experienced Senior Consultants for the operation, further development, and automation of complex Linux and open-source platforms.

Specialists are sought for one of the three tracks: Linux OS, Middleware, or Automation. You will independently manage your areas and, in addition to operations, will also be involved in the conception, further development, and implementation of technical solutions.

Responsibilities

The focus is on the automation and standardization of Linux and open-source platforms.

• Min. 3 years of experience in infrastructure automation
• Ansible, Playbooks, and Roles
• Automation of provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operation
• Shell/Bash, Python, YAML
• GitLab / CI/CD
• Infrastructure-as-Code
• Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
• Automation of patch and lifecycle processes
• Technical conception and documentation

Requirements

Hourly rate ~ 60€

• Several years of relevant experience in the Linux/open-source environment
• German at least C1
• Willingness for occasional on-site assignments in the Stuttgart region
• Existing security clearance or willingness to undergo a security clearance
