Senior Avaloq Engineer – Securities Processing

Responsibilities

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq specialist at a senior expert level in the area of investments & pensions.

You will support the integration of a new Order Management System and the further development of securities processing within the Avaloq Banking Platform. The goal is to increase the degree of automation, reduce risks, and improve the quality of processes. The team works according to the DevOps approach with SAFe and Scrum.

• Parameterization of portfolio management functions and extension of master data in Avaloq
• Participation in the integration of a new Order Management System and optimization of securities processing
• Conception and development of event streaming interfaces to other software systems
• Support and further development of Java-based software components
• Support of ongoing operations as well as analysis and resolution of disruptions

Requirements

• Senior expert level with at least twelve years of relevant professional experience, including at least ten years in Avaloq parameterization
• Knowledge of our client's existing Avaloq implementation is mandatory; details will be clarified in a personal discussion
• Experience with agile development methods
• Willingness to take on operational tasks in a DevOps environment
• Enjoyment and interest in topics related to investments and pensions
• Quick comprehension, strong analytical thinking, and an open, communicative personality
• Very good German skills at C2 level and English skills at C1 level
• Workload: 50%
