Senior Avaloq Engineer – Securities Processing

Project overview

For an established financial institution, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq specialist at a senior expert level to support in the area of investments & pensions.

In this role, you will drive the integration of a new Order Management System and further develop securities processing within the Avaloq Banking Platform. Your focus will be on increasing the degree of automation, reducing risk, and optimizing process quality. The team works according to modern DevOps and Scrum methods within the SAFe framework.

Responsibilities

We expect:

• Parameterization of portfolio management functions and extension of master data in Avaloq
• Participation in the integration of new systems and optimization of securities processing
• Conception and development of event streaming interfaces
• Support and further development of Java-based software components
• Support of ongoing operations as well as analysis and resolution of disruptions
• At least 12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 10 years in Avaloq parameterization
• Deep knowledge of the customer's existing Avaloq implementation
• Experience with agile development methods
• Willingness to take on operational tasks in a DevOps environment
• Interest in topics related to investments and pensions
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and strong communication skills
• German (C2) and English (C1)
