- Programming / implementation / customizing of technical components in applications based on the technologies used (Java, Spring Boot, Event-Sourcing with the Axon Framework, NATS as a messaging broker) including associated interfaces, modules, and corresponding databases in compliance with the client's standards (e.g., use of standardized development environments and programming guidelines)
- Development and operation of the components in a cloud-native environment (Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS) as well as provision and maintenance of infrastructure as code (IaC with Pulumi)
- Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) for automated builds, tests, and deployments
- Ensuring the observability of the components (Observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo) including the provision of suitable metrics, logs, and traces
- Fixing errors from test phases in the applications / components
- Creation and maintenance of automated tests (unit, integration, and component tests) to secure the developed functionality
- Documentation of the technical components
- Creation of system documentation
- Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications, including associated release notes
- Technical support for the compliant development of the safety-relevant system according to CENELEC (EN 50126 / EN 50126), including the creation and maintenance of the required development artifacts and compliance with the specifications from configuration and change management
- Experience in backend development using Java
- Experience in backend development using Spring Boot
- Cenelec know-how in software development
- Experience with Hexagonal Architecture or comparable
- Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Observability using suitable tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo
- Experience with AWS
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi
- Experience with Event Driven Design
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Experience in backend development using NATs as a messaging broker
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD
