For the further development of a complex data warehouse landscape at one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst Data Warehouse. The focus is on the analysis and specification of generic data objects, key figures, and business requirements down to the implementation level. You are comfortable with complex data models, translate business requirements into generic data structures, and ensure that solutions are designed to be sustainable, reusable, and architecture-compliant.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and specification of generic data objects, key figures, and business requirements down to the implementation level
- Translation of business requirements into generic, reusable data structures
- Development of business and technical concepts for the further development of the data warehouse landscape
- Independent data analysis using SQL to validate requirements and solution approaches
- Ensuring sustainable, reusable, and architecture-compliant solutions in coordination with the architecture
- Coordination with business departments, architects, and developers, and creating a common understanding of business and technical solution approaches
Requirements
General Framework Conditions
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data warehouse or analytics environment
- Sound knowledge of requirements engineering and data modeling
- Very good SQL skills and the ability to perform data analysis independently
- Experience in defining key figures and in the business specification of data objects
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of abstraction ability
- Confident stakeholder management and communication tailored to the audience at eye level with business departments, architecture, and development
- Banking experience is an advantage
