Responsibilities

• Analysis of business requirements and their feasibility
• Development and evaluation of future-oriented solution approaches, considering economic viability, quality, and risks
• Creation of requirement descriptions and specifications (e.g., business specifications, features, and user stories)
• Active participation in implementation, testing, and rollout
• Co-responsibility for the operation of applications, support of sales staff in troubleshooting, and independent analysis and resolution of assigned incidents and defects
• Organization, moderation, and execution of workshops with relevant stakeholders
• Close collaboration with other Business Engineers, Product Management, subject matter experts, DevOps Engineers, and IT Architecture

• University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Banking & Finance, or a comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Engineer or in a comparable interface role between business and IT
• Sound knowledge in the area of client onboarding, digital product closing, or client lifecycle management, especially in the financial sector and associated value flows
• Knowledge of business and process-related issues along the customer lifecycle, for example in the areas of onboarding, KYC, review, or amendment processes
• Very good knowledge of agile working and project methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
• Analytical and conceptual skills and a high affinity for digital processes and applications
• German: C1
• English: C1
