Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer – Investment Area /100%/ ZH

Project Focus: For a bank client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Business Engineer to support various initiatives in the development of future investment offerings. You will work at the interface between business and IT, translating requirements from the investment business into concrete, implementable IT solutions. The focus is particularly on mandate and portfolio fund solutions for private clients up to private banking.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer and business requirements in the investment area
• Development of detailed business requirements, features, and stories
• Preparation and execution of workshops and refinements with business and IT departments
• Creation of requirements and detailed specifications
• Support of implementation with agile/Scrum teams
• Definition of interface adjustments and data models
• Support with application configuration and, if necessary, GUI requirements
• Planning and execution of functional and non-functional tests
• Coordination and transparent communication with various stakeholders
• Creation of management documents as well as user and training documentation

• At least 8 years of practical experience as a Business Analyst / Business Engineer
• Sound experience in implementing IT projects in the investment area at a major bank
• Experience with mandate and portfolio fund solutions
• Very good knowledge of Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, and modeling
• Experience working with agile/Scrum teams
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and strong implementation skills
• Confident demeanor in exchanges with business and IT departments
• German: Fluent C2
