Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

Project overview

For one of our clients in the federal sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with additional responsibility as a Product Owner.

Activities:

• Analysis, structuring, and prioritization of business requirements
• Development of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Maintenance and prioritization of the product backlog
• Close collaboration with business departments, architecture, development, testing, and operations
• Support with system, integration, and acceptance tests
• Modeling and documentation of business processes and functional requirements
• Moderation of workshops and stakeholder coordination
• Taking on Product Owner tasks, including roadmap maintenance and sprint activities

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable
• IREB Foundation Certification
• Several years of experience in Requirements Engineering and Requirements Management
• Experience in agile methodologies and according to HERMES
• Experience in creating testable requirements, acceptance criteria, and test specifications
• Experience collaborating with development, architecture, testing, and operations
• Experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable functional leadership role
• Very good German skills (min. C1 or native speaker)
• Good French skills (min. B1)
• Experience in complex system integration and interface projects
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of data management, document management, or case management solutions
• Experience with APIs, web services, data models, and system integration
• Experience in highly regulated environments with data protection and security requirements
• Experience in national or international digitization programs
• Experience in the public sector
• Knowledge in the setup and introduction of new functional applications
