Project overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst at SFIA Level 5 to join a public sector delivery programme operating within a government digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Skills
- Lead end-to-end service analysis, maintaining a holistic view across the full service landscape
- Drive Discovery activity, scoping and structuring work to surface user needs and service opportunities
- Support delivery squads by providing Embedded business analysis expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Provide horizontal support across the Professions area, contributing to capability and consistency
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to define requirements, map processes and identify the art of the possible
- Apply Government Digital Standards throughout analysis and design activities
- Able to run the Service as a whole, looking at the end-to-end Service and needs to be experienced in this sort of environment
- Supporting squads as well as big Discovery work
- Experienced in Government Digital Standards
- Able to hit the ground running
- Exposure to service design or user research disciplines
- Stakeholder Management
- Recognised business analysis qualification such as BCS or equivalent
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with the flexibility to adapt approach to context
- Track record leading analysis and direction-setting on complex digital transformation programmes
- Outcomes-focused, commercially aware mindset, comfortable working transparently and sharing thinking early

- Central Government programme experience
