Senior Business / IT Analyst – SAP Convergent Charging

Project overview

For a transformation project in the area of Charging and Billing, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business / IT Analyst in the SAP environment. You will support a complex project in the electrical engineering industry and work in a demanding, technically oriented environment with historically grown system landscapes.

SAP Convergent Charging is a high-performance platform for calculating and evaluating usage-based services in real-time, especially for complex billing and tariff models.

In Phase 1 (Exploration), you will analyze the existing system landscape, perform technical and functional assessments, and document the current architecture in a structured manner. You will identify functional responsibilities, dependencies, and data flows, and coordinate closely with business departments and technical stakeholders.

In Phase 2 (optional), you will assess the migration capability of existing systems, map functions to SAP concepts, and develop migration and integration scenarios.

You bring very strong analytical skills, have experience with complex IT landscapes, and can penetrate technical implementations from a functional perspective. You are familiar with exploration projects without complete documentation. You work in a structured and methodical way, communicate clearly, and document precisely. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is required.

Experience with SAP Convergent Charging, SAP BRIM, Charging or Rating systems, RADIUS, network or billing systems, as well as migration or transformation projects in the SAP environment is advantageous.

The position is designed for 6+ months, 100% remote, with 80% utilization.
