Senior Citrix VDI & EUC Infrastructure Consultant (Freelance) – Long-Term Project

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Citrix VDI & End User Computing (EUC) Infrastructure Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure program in Germany.

The engagement focuses on the operation, support and continuous improvement of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments and digital workplace services.

The assignment is primarily remote, subject to customer approval. On-site work may be required in Munich, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt.

Please also confirm your willingness to undergo security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung) and provide the required documentation.

• Operate, maintain and support enterprise Citrix VDI environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues affecting virtual desktops and end-user infrastructure.
• Ensure the stability, availability and performance of Citrix workplace services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, workplace management and IT operations teams.
• Support operational improvements and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in technical workshops and customer coordination activities.
• Maintain relevant technical and operational documentation.
• Valid Citrix CCP-V certification.
• Proven hands-on experience operating and supporting Citrix VDI environments.
• At least two relevant Citrix project references.
• Willingness to undergo security clearance in accordance with German SÜG requirements.
• Ability to provide the required D1/C7 subcontractor documentation.
• Willingness to attend on-site workshops and activities in Germany.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Windows 11 administration and workplace management.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience in enterprise EUC and digital workplace infrastructure.
• German language skills, preferably C1.
