Project overview

About the mission:

As part of the global IT system transformation and increasing use of Cloud technologies, our major client in the Energy sector is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect AWS / GCP / S3NS.

You will join the architecture teams to support various business projects in defining, evolving, and industrializing their architectures (public Cloud, hybridization, security, sovereignty, and FinOps).

Soft skills:

• Cloud Design & Roadmaps: Define Cloud Native (AWS, GCP, S3NS/Trusted Cloud) and hybrid (Cloud / On-Premise) architectures. Conduct pre-studies, techno-economic assessments, and reversibility plans.
• Scoping & Modeling: Write high-level architecture documents (HLD) and associated technical architecture documents (DAT) (1 to 4 HLDs/month depending on scope).
• Industrialization & Patterns: Design, document, and automate architecture patterns (Serverless, Microservices, IAM, API, Network, K8s, Observability, AI...) and their usage guides (1 pattern per quarter).
• FinOps & Governance: Perform costing and cost optimization of proposed architectures. Evolve the overall architecture framework.
• Transverse Expertise & Support: Participate in architecture reviews and provide daily support to DevSecOps and development teams.
• Facilitation & Reporting: Prepare and lead technical meetings, ensure weekly tracking of architecture projects with the lead architect.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect
• Public & Sovereign Cloud: Advanced mastery of AWS, GCP, and ideally S3NS Trusted Cloud environments.
• Application & Hybrid Architecture: Solid experience with distributed architectures, Serverless, Microservices, and Data Center / Cloud interconnection.
• Infrastructure as Code: Confirmed expertise in Terraform.
• Containers & Orchestration: In-depth mastery of Kubernetes (particularly EKS and GKE).
• Security & Network: Cloud Cybersecurity, IAM (federation, SSO, MFA), API Gateway, WAF, Ingress, Load Balancing.
• Observability & Resilience: Monitoring, logs, metrics, DR/BCP, messaging/streaming.
• Additional notions appreciated: Cloud Network & connectivity, integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) components.
• Autonomy, proactivity, and exemplary rigor in tracking deliverables.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to simplify complex topics and facilitate workshops with diverse profiles.
