As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading international financial institution committed to pioneering cloud-first solutions. You will support a diverse range of workloads across AWS, GCP, and Azure, playing a key role in managing cloud accounts, ensuring platform reliability, and enabling seamless application deployments. Responsibilities
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Support project teams to build safe, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems aligned with business needs.
- Provide on-call support, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve incidents efficiently.
- Create clear, comprehensive documentation accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in managing AWS accounts and operating core platform services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient project launches.
- Lead major incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support adherence to security best practices, risk management, and compliance standards within cloud environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, especially AWS.
- Strong expertise in cloud account management, platform operation, and incident resolution.
- Proficient scripting skills in Python or advanced shell scripting.
- Broad experience across cloud services, with a focus on AWS, and practical understanding of multi-cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Solid knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
- Security-aware mindset when delivering cloud solutions.
- Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery experience.
