Senior Commercial & Supplier Strategy Manager

Project overview

For our established client in the electrical industry, we are looking for a Senior Commercial & Supplier Strategy Manager starting mid-November or early December.

Job Description:

Development and preparation of supplier and sourcing strategies

Creation of business cases, commercial analyses, and decision proposals

Development and advancement of second-source strategies for risk minimization

Support in contract reviews and coordination with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations)

Coordination and tracking of contract documents, appendices, and open actions

Management of supplier projects and tracking of actions to completion

Support in capacity and ramp-up projects in an international production environment

Analysis of material availability, supply bottlenecks, and procurement risks

Creation and preparation of cost, forecast, and business analyses

Consolidation of key figures and preparation of decision bases for management

Tracking of projects, milestones, risks, and responsibilities

Close collaboration with purchasing, supply chain, finance, legal, and international suppliers

Requirements

Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management

Experience in developing supplier strategies and in supplier and contract management

Knowledge in the development and management of second-source or dual-source concepts

Experience in an industrial environment, ideally with electronic components, EMS service providers, or electronic suppliers

Proficient in cost analyses, business cases, and business key figures

Structured, analytical way of working, as well as strong communication and project management skills

Very good German and English skills
