Project: Construction Management (BOL) and Construction Supervision (BÜ) at Cologne/Bonn Airport

Responsibilities

• Taking over construction management and/or construction supervision for infrastructure measures at Cologne/Bonn Airport
• Focus on the renewal of runways and taxiways
• Coordination and supervision of the executing trades
• Checking and controlling schedules and ensuring construction progress
• Carrying out and accompanying acceptance procedures as well as cost control
• Monitoring construction execution and quality assurance, especially for concrete construction, joint technology, and the requirements for subgrade construction
• Accompanying further infrastructure measures, for example in the areas of drainage and cable laying

Requirements

Framework Conditions

• Sound experience in construction management and/or construction supervision of complex infrastructure projects
• Several years of experience in airport construction, ideally also in a leadership position
• Very good knowledge in the areas of runways, taxiways, and airport pavements
• Sound knowledge of concrete technology, concrete testing, joint technology, and the layered construction of highly durable airport operating surfaces
• Experience in scheduling, trade coordination, acceptance procedures, and cost control
• Reliable, independent, and coordination-strong way of working
• Construction supervision is planned according to HOAI with a scope of approx. 0.5 FTE; depending on the specific role allocation, the total workload can be up to 1.0 FTE.
• A total of 27 weekends with possible shift work are planned for the project duration. This may require assignments in three twelve-hour shifts.
• A valid security clearance for Cologne/Bonn Airport is desirable. Recognitions or proof from activities at other airports may be considered.
