Responsibilities

• Development and optimization of purchasing and procurement strategies in the context of civil engineering and construction projects
• Analysis and further development of awarding, bundling, and lot strategies
• Evaluation and design of suitable contract and procurement models
• Development of supplier, procurement, and competition strategies
• Development of concepts for capacity and supply security with increasing project volumes
• Analysis of economic potentials as well as development of commercial control models
• Derivation of strategic recommendations for action for the further development of existing procurement approaches

• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement consulting
• Profound knowledge in the field of energy infrastructure, network construction, or comparable infrastructure projects
• Experience with civil engineering and construction projects, ideally in the context of substations or supply networks
• Know-how in the areas of supplier management, sourcing strategies, and procurement optimization
• Background in management consulting or in strategic transformation projects
• Ability to critically analyze existing purchasing and procurement models and develop innovative solution approaches
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as confident presence at management level
