Senior IT Strategic Sourcing Consultant

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Strategic Sourcing Consultant to support a global IT Procurement team. In this responsible position, you will manage strategic sourcing projects across various IT categories and contribute significantly to the optimization of procurement processes.

Your main tasks include managing end-to-end sourcing initiatives for software, hardware, IT infrastructure, IT consulting, and other IT-related product groups. You will conduct RFx processes, evaluate suppliers, conduct negotiations, and conclude contracts. Another focus is on identifying and realizing cost optimization potentials as well as conducting high-level commercial negotiations.

In addition, you will be responsible for supplier relationship management, performance management, and creating meaningful management presentations and decision papers for sourcing committees.

We expect at least 4-6 years of professional experience in Strategic Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Indirect Procurement. Experience in managing sourcing projects is required. Furthermore, you should have fluent English skills in speaking and writing.
