We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Risk Specialist to support a major financial regulatory organisation on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in UK Retail Banking and/or SME Banking credit risk, with particular expertise in Credit Asset Quality Reviews, Credit Risk Management Framework Reviews and credit portfolio risk management.

- Extensive experience in UK Retail Banking and/or SME Banking Credit Risk.
- Proven experience conducting Credit Asset Quality Reviews.
- Strong understanding of Credit Risk Management Framework Reviews.
- Experience in credit portfolio risk management within a bank or financial regulator.
- Good understanding of retail credit risk models, including:
- IFRS 9
- Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) models
- Credit risk stress testing
- Application and behavioural scorecards
- Credit risk forecasting models
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
- Experience producing detailed risk assessment and review reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- SC security clearance required.
