Project overview

Project Background

For potential upcoming projects in Cybersecurity, we are looking for experienced freelance Cybersecurity Architects. The focus is on the conception and further development of complex security architectures in demanding IT environments, especially in the public sector and defense sector.

Responsibilities

Conception and further development of holistic IT security architectures

Analysis of existing IT infrastructures and identification of security risks

Development of Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth concepts

Creation of technical security concepts for cloud, network, and hybrid infrastructures

Consulting on Identity & Access Management (IAM), network segmentation, and encryption

Conducting Security Architecture Reviews and technical risk analyses

Coordination with IT Architecture, Security Operations, and project managers

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Cybersecurity Architect or IT Security Architect

Sound knowledge of modern IT security architectures

Experience with Zero Trust, IAM, network, and cloud security

Knowledge of relevant security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST

Experience in the conception of security-critical IT systems

Very good German language skills

Desirable

Experience in projects for federal authorities, defense, or public IT service providers

Knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz and VS-NfD

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SABSA

Experience with complex multi-cloud and hybrid architectures
