Contract Senior Data Analyst
Reading HQ 2-3 days a week onsite
SC clearance is essential
Up to £76 p/h Inside IR35
A leading defence prime based in Reading are looking to onboard a Security Cleared (SC) Data Analyst with extensive SQL, Data Modelling and Visualisation experience. The role will be supporting a critical MOD programme, so we are only able to consider candidates who hold live security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Develop reports, dashboards and KPI monitoring tools using Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and validation.
- Build efficient data models and ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate insights.
- Maintain clear documentation and follow data governance, privacy and security standards.
- Security cleared (SC)
- This is a non negotiable requirement
- Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools.
- Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential data responsibly.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
- Knowledge of Python or R.
- Power BI/Tableau certifications or relevant STEM professional membership.
