Senior Data Analyst

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst.

In this role, you will work alongside Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Data Engineers. Together, we develop solutions where data, analytics, and AI are embedded into both customer-facing services and internal business processes.

By owning the entire analytics journey, from raw data to actionable insights, we play a key role in unlocking value from more than 1.8 million connected assets.

The Role:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will act as an expert and catalyst, taking responsibility for analytics value creation in all phases: from early ideation with stakeholders, to creating dashboards and data pipelines, or helping superusers create their own dashboards. We are an expert function that supports multiple domains and data areas with analytical back ends, dashboards and data models, while providing expert guidance in data utilization, data engineering and business development. To that end, we are looking for someone who can bring the following skills:

As we are working with data from 1.8 million connected assets, data volumes are massive (petabytes) and require us to use our tools to their fullest capacity, innovate and stay at the forefront to deliver critical business value.

• Project Intake & Scoping: Be comfortable talking with stakeholders and translating their business needs into well-defined projects, breaking down tasks and objectives, as well as communicating what is possible & what is not from a business perspective.
• Data Pipelining & Engineering: Be proficient working with leading data platforms to create robust and performant data transformation pipelines. Experience with our data technology stack is an advantage, particularly Databricks, our primary data platform, as well as AWS Glue, Athena and Microsoft Fabric.
• Dashboarding & Visualization: Have expert knowledge of how to utilize visualization platforms to their fullest extent, choosing the right tool for the task and building intuitive and professional-looking dashboards and reports. Having a deep understanding of Power BI is an advantage.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can utilize data to drive change. We believe you are a creative and entrepreneurial problem-solver with an inquisitive attitude, capable of building new products from scratch, including needs identification, data extraction, data transformation, data modelling, creating powerful visuals, and educating users together with the team.

REGARDING NECESSARY BACKGROUND CHECKS:

You, the supplier, must conduct a background check as soon as possible after the candidate has been chosen for the assignment. Please contact Ework ASAP if you want us to perform the check on your behalf, for a fee.

As a part of the contract signature, you, the supplier, will also sign a ‘SELF-DECLARATION FORM’ confirming all requested Background Checks are completed. If you/your consultant is selected for the assignment, you are responsible to ensure the background check is completed before signing a contract.

Our client reserves the right to request evidence of completion of these checks according to their expectations for the duration of the contingent worker assignment.

If any deviations or discrepancies occur, the supplier should inform Ework and the candidate should not be moving forward in the procurement process.
