Senior Data and Integration Technical Architect

Project overview

Context

As part of the procurement process transformation program, a large company in the environmental sector is deploying a target Ivalua platform covering Sourcing-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes.

This platform needs to integrate with several existing systems: legacy Ivalua platforms, SAP, Oracle, operational systems, and order-issuing tools. The program includes several deployment waves.

The architecture must consider the diversity of data models, the coexistence of multiple repositories, transformation traceability, flow monitoring, data security, and the transition from project to run.

Architecture deliverables must notably secure the application mapping, interfaces, and documentation required for operations.

Missions

The technical architect will be involved in formalizing, securing, and evolving the technical architecture of the Data, flow, and integration system around Ivalua.

They will notably have to:

Working Conditions

• analyze the existing architecture and the target architecture;
• produce the application and technical mapping;
• document the flows between Ivalua and satellite systems;
• define data integration principles;
• formalize architectural choices and their impacts;
• write technical architecture documents;
• write or update integration and operational documents;
• describe interfaces, formats, frequencies, controls, and recovery mechanisms;
• secure exchanges between SAP, Oracle, Ivalua, and Data tools;
• verify the consistency of the architecture with migration requirements;
• challenge solutions proposed by the integrator;
• verify the compliance of solutions with security and governance requirements;
• contribute to defining monitoring and traceability mechanisms;
• support teams during the build, test, cutover, and hypercare phases;
• organize the handover from the project architecture to the maintenance and support teams;
• contribute to the preparation of Build to Run.
