Senior Data Engineer - Azure & GCP

Project overview

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will support the Data Lead by providing strong technical expertise in architectural choices and pipeline design. You will be involved in the design, build, and run of data flows, with a critical eye on existing implementations and areas for improvement.

Your responsibilities will cover the implementation and administration of data architectures (data lake, data warehouse), support for technical overhauls, and the production of reporting when necessary. You will also contribute to the documentation of flows, models, and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.

The position requires a high degree of autonomy, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams. The role is compatible with full remote work, with occasional on-site travel.

Profile Sought

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in data engineering

Mandatory dual exposure to Azure and GCP

Very good command of SQL

Proven experience in designing and deploying data pipelines

Good ability to challenge the existing and structure an architecture

Comfortable working with business and technical teams

Full remote possible

Occasional on-site travel (~1 time per month)
