Must-haves:

• Migration of existing ETL processes into performant Databricks pipelines
• Development and further development of a scalable Lakehouse architecture
• Working with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and DLT/SDP
• Ensuring data quality, governance, and authorization concepts
• Development and optimization with Python, PySpark and SQL
• Performance optimization with large amounts of data
• Accompanying tests, parallel operation and cutover
• Data modeling, data storage and historization, especially SCD2
• Close cooperation with business departments and other development teams
• Active participation within a Scrum team
• Sound practical experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architectures
• Very good knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
• Experience with DLT/SDP, authorization models and Data Governance
• Very good knowledge of Python, PySpark and SQL
• Experience in processing and performance optimization of large data volumes
• Sound experience in the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence environment
• Experience with data modeling, data transport and SCD2 historization
• Experience in agile Scrum teams
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
