Senior Data Platform Engineer - asap - remote - 6+ Months

Project overview

For a project, an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer is sought. The goal is the expansion of a central data platform that merges data from various operational systems via events and APIs and makes it available for further processing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Development of backend services and APIs with .NET/C#
• Setup and further development of event-based data integrations, especially with RabbitMQ
• Modeling and processing of time-series and metadata
• Integration of operational systems with a central data platform
• Further development of data structures in Microsoft Fabric
• Deployment and operation of the services in Azure / AKS

Requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in backend development and data engineering
• Very good knowledge of .NET / C# and API development
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture / Message Brokers (RabbitMQ)
• Good knowledge of data modeling and data integration
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes / AKS
• Very good German language skills
