Seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Demand Forecasting to join a Data & AI transformation program, focusing on strategic Supply Chain challenges.
Project overview
As part of a Data & AI transformation program, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Demand Forecasting to join a team of about ten Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
You will work on strategic Supply Chain issues, with the objectives of optimizing product availability, anticipating needs, improving logistics flows, and reducing storage costs as well as waste.
Your missions
- Analyze historical data to identify trends, seasonality, promotional impacts, and external events.
- Design, train, and optimize time series forecasting models.
- Define and track metrics to evaluate model accuracy.
- Industrialize and deploy ML models in a GCP Cloud environment.
- Develop robust, automated, and maintainable modeling pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams and Supply Chain business stakeholders.
- Ensure model explainability and present results to business teams.
- Participate in the monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production solutions.
