Responsibilities

For our client, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Datacenter Network Engineer (m/f/d) to support the design, implementation and operation of a highly available datacenter network environment across two sites in Denmark.

The project focuses on building a high-performance, low-latency network infrastructure for a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment, based on Dell switches running SONiC.

Key Responsibilities

The project is planned full-time and onsite in Denmark, with an expected workload of up to five days per week.

• Build, cable and configure network infrastructure across two datacenter sites
• Deploy and operate Dell SONiC switches within a leaf-spine architecture
• Implement L2/L3 underlay networking, including MTU, QoS, ECMP and routing
• Configure highly available network architectures across both datacenters
• Integrate the underlay network with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Perform testing, validation and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot issues across Layer 1–3
• Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams

Requirements

-Strong hands-on experience in datacenter networking

-Proven experience with Dell networking hardware and SONiC OS

-Strong knowledge of leaf-spine architectures and ECMP

-In-depth experience with eBGP and OSPF

-Knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN

-Experience with MLAG and ESI-based multihoming

-Experience with stretched L2/L3 datacenter fabrics

-Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
